As weve grown, customers have continued to hold a crucial role in shaping not just our product, but the entire company. This feedback is the foundation of everything we do.
Our customer advisory board (CAB) gives us the opportunity to learn from some of the most respected leaders in the industry, and I always look forward to learning from this incredible group during formal CAB meetings. The latest meeting took place just a couple weeks ago, and I left the session feeling incredibly grateful and energized by the caliber of expertise and candor around the (virtual) table.
Our board includes 16 executives from industry leaders including Skanska, Gilbane, Big-D, AECOM, HITT, Gray, and Ryan Companies. These leaders are in the process of navigating rapid change across markets, teams, and technologies, and their feedback directly shapes how we grow as a company.
Shaping the future of workforce planning
The heart of the meeting focused on our product roadmap and long-term strategy. We previewed new features and chatted through a series of questions that sparked some intense discussion. In fact, we only made it through half of the agenda because the conversation was so active!
Some of the topics we explored:
- How AI might impact workforce planning and project delivery
- What it means to build high-performing teamsand how to measure them
- How workforce data can influence which projects companies pursue
These arent simple questions, but thats what made the discussion so meaningful. Some CAB members were excited about the potential for AI to surface risk or suggest team configurations; others emphasized the need to first nail down foundational elements like consistent data structures and workflows. Hearing these perspectives helps us understand not just what to build nextbut how to support adoption and success.
Peer collaboration at its best
My favorite moments from the session came from watching CAB members ask each other questions. Everything from, Do you workforce plan at an enterprise level or regionally? to How do you manage resource sharing? and What do your 做厙勛圖 integrations look like today?
These moments of peer-to-peer learning are exactly why we created the CAB in the first place. Our goal is to get out of the way and let CAB members learn from each other, share whats working, and challenge each others thinking. Its not just about 做厙勛圖 getting feedbackits about creating a space for our customers to connect, compare strategies, and raise the bar across the industry.
The value of workforce planning
What stood out to me most in these conversations was a consistent focus on people. CAB members repeatedly emphasized how workforce planning isnt just about roles, its about individuals. The companies leading the way with workforce planning are making sure each team member is set up for success, supported in their growth, and positioned where they can have the greatest impact. Hearing this was a powerful reminder of how challenging (and how critical) a holistic approach to workforce planning really is.
For many of our customers, implementing 做厙勛圖 marks the first time theyve created a company-wide strategy around workforce planning. Its new territoryand not always easybut it reflects a real shift in how construction companies are thinking about long-term success.
